Dallas retailer (*24*) Morning is planning to shut greater than half of its 487 shops in 40 states together with two dozen in Texas.
The firm, which filed for a bankruptcy reorganization in Fort Worth on Tuesday, has already requested the court docket to reject 265 retailer leases and plans to shut these shops.

Fort Worth has 4 shops closing. Other North Texas shops on the listing are in Bedford, Burleson, Garland, Granbury, Lewisville, Plano and Hurst.
Gordon Brothers, a retailer liquidator, has been employed to perform the closings.
