Suspect injured after shooting at Garland officers, police say



The incident occurred round 2 p.m. after police responded to studies of a person on a property who wasn’t purported to be there.

GARLAND, Texas — A suspect has been injured after an alternate of gunfire with Garland officers Thursday afternoon, in keeping with police.

Police informed WFAA that the incident started when Garland officers responded to a house within the 600 block of Echo Drive with reference to a person on property who wasn’t purported to be there.

According to police, two officers arrived and tried to get the person to go away the property. It’s unclear why the person was there.

During the incident, police mentioned the suspect began shooting at the officers, which led to them returning hearth. The suspect was struck an unknown variety of instances, in keeping with police.

The suspect was transported to a hospital in unknown situation, police mentioned.

There had been no officers injured, police mentioned.
