SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department (SPD) recognized a suspect in the July 2022 murder because the sufferer’s boyfriend. The man is currently in jail in Florida, the place police stated he went through the murder investigation, for unrelated charges.Â

On the morning of July 24, 2022, SPD responded to the 1400 block of West Boone Avenue for a dying investigation. The caller, later recognized as Hood, instructed police he discovered his girlfriend lifeless.

In September 2022, Hood was arrested in Pinellas County, Fla. for grand theft of a motorcar and carrying a hid firearm, in accordance with courtroom information. In November, he pleaded responsible to each charges and was sentenced to 210 days in jail with credit score for time served.
Hood was taken to the Pinellas County Jail in Clearwater, Fla. to serve his sentence.
