BRONX, N.Y. – The Stony Brook soccer crew fell to Fordham, 45-14, on Saturday evening at Jack Coffey Field within the Bronx. Freshman quarterback Charlie McKee earned his first-career begin for the Seawolves and tossed two landing passes in his second collegiate sport.

Redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Taylor Bolesta notched three tackles, 1.5 TFLs, and a half of sack as he and redshirt sophomore linebacker AJ Roberts introduced down Fordham’s Tim DeMorat early within the second quarter.
  • Redshirt freshman punter Tommy Dellaporta tried his first eight collegiate punts and totaled 339 yards for 42.4 yards per punt. He dropped 4 of his eight punts inside Fordham’s 20-yard line.

“Fordham is a very good football team and we didn’t represent ourselves correctly. Offensively, we continued to struggle. Defensively, we played well early, but it was hard to hang on. We went up against an offense that has performed to this level all season,” mentioned head coach Chuck Priore.
