Roof collapse at Houston’s Downtown Aquarium

The aquarium remained open for friends.

HOUSTON — A lady was injured Friday after a construction above the doorway to Houston’s Downtown Aquarium collapsed.

The Downtown Aquarium is situated on Bagby Street near the Gulf Freeway.

The construction above the doorway fell on prime of the girl as she was standing beneath, officers stated. She was taken to the hospital in an unknown situation.

No different accidents have been reported.

A forklift needed to be delivered to the institution to scoop up the particles from the collapse.

The aquarium remained open for friends.

Landry’s, Inc. govt vp and basic counsel Steve Scheinthal gave KHOU 11 the next assertion:

“We are not exactly sure what happened at the Downtown Aquarium this evening, but are committed to fully investigating. We immediately reached out to the family of the impacted individual and are doing what we can to support them. We have cleaned the area and our development team is committed to understanding what happened. The Downtown Aquarium will reopen tomorrow.”
