Pinellas Commission Could Change Hands in Tuesday’s Vote | NewsRadio WFLA


TAMPA — The Pinellas County Commission may flip events, relying on who wins Tuesday’s election.

Three of the seats will find yourself Republican, the opposite three going to the Democrats, so one race will determine the bulk. Incumbent Pat Gerard has had the at-large District 2 seat since 2014, and Democrats have managed the fee for a decade. She faces constitution bus firm president Brian Scott.

In Hillsborough, Democratic incumbent Harry Cohen faces Republican Scott Levinson in District 1, in a rematch of 2020. In District 5, incumbent Democrat Mariella Smith faces republican Donna Cepeda, and in District 7, incumbent Democrat Kimberly Overman faces Republican Joshua Wostal.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
