The Oklahoma State University Flight Team positioned second general within the 2022 National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) Region IV SAFECON contest, held Oct. 16-20 at Southeastern Oklahoma State University
in Durant, Oklahoma.
Each member of the Flight Team competed in occasions designed to check their data
in areas comparable to pc accuracy, navigation and touchdown strategies, vying to qualify
for the nationwide competitors. Flying Aggies pilots ranked highly in quite a few particular person competitions. As a crew, the Flying Aggies took second and
third place in floor and flight occasions, respectively.

Dr. Jon Loffi, undergraduate program professor and school advisor for the Flying
Aggies, praised Adams and the crew’s efficiency.
“Coach Adams did a stellar job getting ready for competitors. I’m very happy along with his
effort in teaching the Flight Team and with the job the Flight Team did to place in
the highest two,” Loffi stated.
The Oklahoma State University Flight Team will compete at the NIFA National SAFECON
Competition in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, which is scheduled for May 8-13, 2023.
