Oklahoma State punter Tom Hutton named to Ray Guy Award Watch List


STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State punter Tom Hutton was named to the 2022 Ray Guy Award Watch List by the Augusta Sports Council on Wednesday. Hutton is one among 48 FBS gamers on the preseason record.

The award is introduced yearly and honors the nation’s finest collegiate punter. Hutton is one among six punters from the Big 12 on the watch record for the Ray Guy Award.

The award was created in 2000 to honor Ray Guy, a College and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee. Hutton is a 32-year-old native of Australia and joined the Oklahoma State soccer program prior to the 2019 season. As a junior in 2021, Hutton completed with 72 punts for a median of 42.4 yards per try.
