Voters will resolve in February whether or not to move a Norman Public Schools bond for greater than $350 million.
Norman Public Schools is seeking to make upgrades at each faculty within the district and including new packages.
Superintendent Nick Migliorino stated they acquired over $700 million value of wants and desires.
“Our facility assessments tell us a lot and then the input from the community, teachers, parents’ students really helps us to take it to that next level,” Migliorino stated.
They narrowed it right down to a $353.9 million faculty bond proposal. He stated this proposal is constructing off of the 2019 bond. The bond features a new multi-sport athletic stadium at Norman North High School and a facility for the Oklahoma Aviation Academy at Max Westheimer Airport.
“It’s the second largest industry in the state of Oklahoma and it’s growing faster than any other industry,” Migliorino stated.
