Missing Pooch’s Parents Use Apple Air Tags To Track Their Furry Friend – CBS Miami


MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Mom Miju Dixon is inconsolable, and so is her sad-looking four-legged son Pizza. 

“We just want him to be safe first and foremost,” sobbed Miju.

Pizza, mother and even dad, Jack Dixon, are devastated they’re lacking an essential piece of the household pie, Morgan, who beloved consuming bacon throughout higher days. 

“We just want him to come home.”

Sunday night time, the Dixons had been having pizza, paradoxically, with Pizza and Morgan, high-priced, typically focused French Bulldogs, when, abruptly, youthful brother Morgan ditched the household for a stroll round again. 

“I noticed he wasn’t in the yard,” recalled Jack. “As we were screaming his name someone just picked him up and drove off,” Miju advised CBS4 News.

It was all caught on a Ring digital camera. But, it was one other piece of know-how that may show much more invaluable.

“We have these Apple Air Tags on both dogs.”

“When we opened up the app we noticed the tag was moving at a really quick rate like it was in a car,” defined Jack. 

The couple adopted the tag all the way in which to Hialeah the place they hit a lifeless finish. With the Apple tag seemingly tossed, the Morgan’s high-tech detection system was quickly changed by old skool flyers and detection canine. 

“I want you to find this dog!” exclaimed pet detective Jamie Katz, who unleashed some canine of her personal, Fletcher and Gable. 

“It’s devastating, especially since French Bulldogs are high maintenance. He has a lot of medical issues, so we just want him back. That’s it!” concluded Miju. 

In the United States, solely 16% of lacking pets make it again residence. But, non-public pet investigator Jamie Katz has a 67% return fee.
