MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – Redshirt junior Ceili McCabe of the West Virginia University cross nation workforce was named the Big 12 Cross Country Women’s Runner of the Year, the convention introduced on Tuesday.
The Vancouver, British Columbia, native grew to become the first-ever Mountaineer to win the honor in 2021. She is the solely WVU runner to win the award twice. Previously, McCabe was named Big 12 Women’s Newcomer of the Year in 2019.
