A man in his 30s was gunned down at a Winter Park apartment complex
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County deputies are investigating after a man was found shot dead at an apartment complex early Friday morning.
Deputies responded to the Seabrook Apartments in the 3100 block of Terry Brook Drive in Winter Park just before 7 a.m. after receiving a call about a man down. That’s where they said they found a man in his 30s who had been shot.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.Â

Resident Carlos De La Cruz told FOX 35 that he heard gunshots late Thursday night. He said he’s lived in the complex for about a year.

“When I came living over here, I thought it was safe, because the neighborhood was really quiet,” he said. “It’s really surprising.”
He said the gate to the complex has not been working and that people can come in and out whether they live there are not.Â
“For security reasons, it’s not safe,” he said.
