Man accused of raping ‘passed out’ man at victim’s Wilton Manors home



WILTON MANORS, Fla. – Police arrested a Fort Lauderdale man Thursday once they accused him of raping some other man in Wilton Manors Sunday.

According to an arrest record from the Wilton Manors Police Department, the sufferer, who police mentioned used to be sexually assaulted on his personal sofa, came upon what took place to him after reviewing video taken from inside of his home.

The record states that Andrew Dennis Tifft, 44, and a pal took the “intoxicated” sufferer again to his Wilton Manors home. Police mentioned the man later handed out on his sofa.

That’s when police mentioned “several video clips” confirmed Tifft sexually assaulting the sufferer, who they mentioned advised officials that he didn’t consent to what had took place.

The record states that Tifft advised police that he and the sufferer have prior to now had “‘this kind of sex,’ where the victim was so intoxicated.”

WMPD Detective Bonnie Owens wrote that Tifft “admitted to having sex with the victim even though the victim was highly intoxicated.”
