BELLEAIR, Fla. (AP) — The Pelican Women’s Championship can be 54 holes as a result of of heavy rain from Tropical Storm Nicole and won’t begin till Friday on the earliest, the LPGA Tour says.
The one improvement from washing out the opening spherical: Hye-Jin Choi determined to withdraw, which means Atthaya Thitikul has clinched the points-based award for LPGA rookie of the year.
The Pelican Women’s Championship is the penultimate occasion on the schedule. The main 60 gamers advance subsequent week to the CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, which affords a $7 million purse.
