Kalispell considers final OK for subdivision



Kalispell City Council on Monday will take into account granting final approval for the Quail Meadows Subdivision.

The subdivision containing 39 single-family heaps on about 10 acres is situated on Tronstad Road. The developer Quail Meadows, LLC is looking for final plat approval for the subdivision that sits close to the intersection of U.S. 93 and Tronstad.

The assembly begins at 7 p.m. within the City Hall, 201 First Avenue East.

Council authorised in April 2022 the preliminary plat for the subdivision with 31 situations. All of the situations have been met or adequately addressed, in line with a memo to Council.

Also on the agenda, Council will vote on setting a public listening to on Nov. 7 for a request from Kidlay & Stratton for an modification to the deliberate unit growth for Starling subdivision on the west aspect of Stillwater Road to the west of Timberwolf Parkway. The request is to extend the density on one of many heaps from the initially proposed 36 multi-family models to 48 models.

In addition, the developer want to change the driveway accesses on six nook heaps recognized within the second section to permit for accent dwelling models. The change would add the choice for one driveway entry to be allowed on the alley and the second driveway to be allowed on the road.
