Jofra Archer returns as England announce ODI squad for South Africa tour



England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), on Thursday, introduced their squad for the three-match ODI collection in opposition to South Africa, which is scheduled to start in January 2023.

Fast bowler Jofra Archer has made his comeback within the England squad after nearly two years. The right-armer final performed worldwide cricket in March 2021 as he has skilled a troublesome time with accidents, having first been sidelined with an elbow damage.

“Sussex and England quick Jofra Archer returns to an England squad for the first time since March 2021. He is recovering well from an elbow injury and is expected to return to international cricket in South Africa next month,” wrote ECB in an official launch.

Apart from Archer, pacer Reece Topley has additionally returned within the squad. He was earlier dominated out of England’s T20 World Cup successful marketing campaign on the eve of the event. Ben Duckett and Harry Brook have retained their locations following their magnificent tour of Pakistan.
