House struck by lightning in Oklahoma City


OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – As thunderstorms moved by way of the metro, Oklahoma City firefighters had been referred to as to a home after it was struck by lightning.

Around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oklahoma City firefighters had been referred to as to a house close to N.W. a hundred and eightieth and May Ave. following a lightning strike.

When hearth crews arrived on the scene, they realized a big home had been struck.

Fortunately, the home didn’t catch on hearth.

However, officers say the lightning strike did trigger a gap in the roof.

Fire crews had been capable of rapidly cowl it with a tarp to stop the rain from inflicting every other harm to the house.
