LAREDO, TX – A tiger cub was seized from a residence in South Texas over the weekend.
According to the Laredo Police Department, on Apr. 22, officers with the LPD and the Laredo Animal Services captured the 3-month-old cub.
“We are completely happy to announce that this lovely child tiger was safely eliminated by Laredo Animal Care Services from a residence and quickly transferred to a greater habitat,” said the LPD on their Facebook. “We can’t wait to see her play in her future home!”
An NPR article claims that almost all of seized huge cats are moved to nature preserves and rehabilitation facilities.
