Georgia inmate found dead in prison days after being sentenced to die for killing two corrections officers


A Georgia man who was just lately sentenced to demise in the killings of two corrections officers throughout an escape try 5 years in the past has died in prison of an obvious suicide, corrections officers mentioned.

Dubose and Donnie Rowe have been being transported between prisons together with different inmates once they killed the two guards and escaped from the bus in Putnam County, southeast of Atlanta, on June 13, 2017. They have been arrested days later in Tennessee.

Dubose was accused of firing the gun that killed the officers after he and Rowe slipped out of handcuffs and burst via an unlocked gate on the entrance of the bus. Prosecutors say Dubose grabbed one of many officers’ weapons and shot Monica, the guard, after which Billue, the driving force, each in the pinnacle.
