Former Brevard County school teacher arrested for trying to have ‘sexual relations’ with student: Deputies

A 64-year-old former teacher at Satellite High School in Brevard County has been arrested after he tried to have sexual relations with a scholar, deputies stated.

Timothy Liscum, 64, of Melbourne allegedly traveled to a location in Brevard County anticipating to meet a minor youngster for the aim of getting sexual relations. Deputies stated he initially had been speaking via an digital machine with a scholar at Satellite High School. 

The scholar turned “concerned about the content of the conversations” and advised one other scholar in addition to a trusted teacher who reported the information to school directors. 

The Satellite Beach Police Department opened an investigation of getting an agent pose as the web id of the scholar, deputies stated. Liscum reportedly solicited the “student” to meet for the aim of getting “sexual relations.” 

Liscum was arrested when he arrived on the pre-determined location and was taken into custody for use of a pc to solicit a baby and journey to meet after use of a Computer to lure a baby.

Liscum was transported to the Brevard County Jail.

The former teacher has been employed with the Brevard County School Board for the final 30 years.
