Florida oysters found to have toxic ‘forever chemicals,’ FIU study says


A brand new study found toxic chemical substances in oysters caught alongside Florida’s shoreline, and that features proper right here within the Tampa Bay space.

The report from Florida International University found oysters from Biscayne Bay, Marco Island and Tampa Bay had critical contaminants. The study sampled 156 oysters from these areas.
