Florida home health aide arrested after withholding services from disabled adult


TALLAHASSEE, FLA – A home health aide worker was arrested on Tuesday after mendacity about spending time with a disabled Medicaid recipient, in keeping with the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

Diane Johnson was arrested in Duval County after not offering any services to a disabled adult for 5 weeks, as an alternative sitting in her automotive outdoors of the affected person’s home, investigators stated.

“Not only did this home health aide employee rip off a taxpayer-funded program, but she also withheld services from a patient in need of care,” Attorney General Ashley Moody stated. “My Medicaid Fraud Control Unit uncovered these crimes, and now the suspect in this case will have to answer for her decisions not to provide care.”

The authorities discovered in regards to the fraud after a social employee visited the affected person’s home and located Johnson sitting in her automotive outdoors.

The social employee contacted Tamba Momorie, the proprietor of Tambolina Services Inc., which was an organization that employed Johnson to care of the affected person. Momorie drove to the home and located Johnson sitting within the automotive.

After Johnson was confronted by Momorie, she stated that Johnson violently cursed her and left, by no means returning and stealing the pill the corporate gave her.
