TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Miami lawmaker proposed a brand new bill for the Florida legislative session to make citizen’s arrests illegal.

As written, House Bill 25 would make it against the law for residents who usually are not regulation enforcement officers to arrest somebody for allegedly violating state legal guidelines. However, the bill leaves two exceptions.

If a regulation enforcement officer is outdoors of their jurisdiction, they could arrest somebody who commits a felony of their presence, or once they have in all probability trigger to imagine somebody has dedicated a felony.
