Five killed in McGregor, Texas Rangers leading investigation



A sergeant with DPS stated Texas Rangers have been leading the investigation that included an officer concerned capturing.

MCGREGOR, Texas — Texas Rangers have been investigating the deaths of 5 individuals in McGregor Thursday, based on a Department of Public Safety spokesperson.

Sgt. Ryan Howard stated the incident led to an officer concerned capturing. It occurred in the world of West eighth St. and Monroe St.

Howard stated he couldn’t affirm how the 5 individuals have been killed or how they have been associated.

Howard stated the suspect in the deaths was in custody and there was no menace to the group.

A publish to the Troy Independent School District stated all its center faculty, freshman and junior varsity soccer video games with McGregor faculties have been canceled for Thursday because of the “tragic shooting in the McGregor community.”

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to all involved,” the publish reads.

The district additionally stated a call on whether or not to play the Friday evening recreation had not been made.

McGregor ISD had not launched any response to the incident as of the time this story was revealed.
