THESE CREWS JUST PULLED UT OF THE DRIVEWAY AT THE HEADQUARTERS MOMENTS AGO. SEVEN LINEMEN AND FOUR TRUCKS ARE ON THE WAY TO FLORIDA. THIS GROUP, CONSISTING OF EDMOND ELECTRIC AND PERSONNEL FROM ALL OVER THE STATE, INCLUDING STILLWATER, AND OTHERS. THE DIRECTOR OF EDMOND ELECTRIC TELLS US THESE GUYS ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT BEING ABLE TO HELP THOSE WHO TRULY NEEDED. >> THEY ARE WELL-VERSED IN THIS. TO POP OF THE INDIVIDUALS HAVE BEEN TO MULTIPLE HURRICANE EVENTS IN THE PAST. THEY’VE SEEN IT ALL FROM SNAKES TO FLOODING TO DEBRIS ALL OVER THE PLACE. SO THEY KNOW WHAT THEY’RE GETTING INTO AND SURPRISINGLY I THINK SOME OF THESE INDIVIDUALS ACTUALLY LOOK FORWARD TO HELPING OUT LIKE THIS. Hurricane Ian is simply hours away from making landfall in Florida.The Oklahoma Standard already has been on show as crews have left the Sooner State to assist these impacted.
