Honey Grove, Texas — Doris Ann (Todd) Dotson handed away from this life October 21, 2022, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Doris was born the older daughter of SL Todd and Maude (Bartlett) Todd, north of Honey Grove, TX, March 16, 1936.
Doris was reared and attended grade faculty within the Telephone, TX Community, graduated highschool from Honey Grove, TX and acquired her B.S. diploma from East Texas State University in Commerce, TX. Doris taught faculty in La Marque, Texas for twenty years and reared her household there. She additionally labored for American Indemnity Insurance Company in Galveston, TX till her retirement in 1998.
Doriss love was her household & associates, stitching, and needlework. She realized to quilt after retirement and helped the Telephone Vol. Fire Dept. with donations of her handiwork for his or her fundraising occasions. She shared her quilting and crochet creations with household and associates, and crocheted afghans for Honey Grove Nursing Home sufferers.
Doris Dotson was survived by her granddaughter, Bethany Goulding and her household; grandson, Nathan Pierce and his household, alongside along with her sister, Rebecca Shirley and her household.
She was preceded in demise by her dad and mom; SL and Maude Todd, son; Dwight Todd, and daughter; Angela Kay Pierce.
A memorial service shall be held at a later date, at Shiloh Cemetery, North of Honey Grove. No flowers please.
