DALLAS — A younger boy was shot and killed at an apartment complex in southern Dallas on Sunday afternoon, police mentioned.
Police mentioned officers responded to a capturing round 2 p.m. at the Signature at Southern Oaks Apartments, close to Illinois Avenue and Interstate 45.
According to police, the preliminary investigation revealed that there was some type of battle between two feminine juveniles previous to the capturing. Police mentioned it appeared one of many women pulled out a gun and fired at the opposite lady.
Police mentioned the bullet missed the lady however struck the younger boy, who was a bystander. The boy was transported to a hospital, the place he died.
The suspect ran away to a close-by apartment complex on Overton Road, the place she was taken into custody, based on police.
