Attention Drivers: South Florida law enforcement will be out in force this weekend looking for impaired drivers

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Police throughout South Florida will be looking out for impaired drivers this vacation weekend.

Starting Friday night time, Saturday, and Sunday DUI job force items will be hitting main South Florida highways and roadways.

Police stated when you plan on consuming this weekend, do not get behind the wheel and if you do not have a chosen driver, name a cab or a ride-sharing service.

If you’re headed to Miami Beach, there will be sobriety checks in place:

MBPD will conduct a Sobriety Checkpoint on Saturday, September 3, 2022. The checkpoint will be positioned at 11 Street and Washington Avenue starting at 6 p.m. and will proceed by means of Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 4 a.m. pic.twitter.com/LlzfhT4hlM
