Oklahoma State Takes Down UT Arlington In Season Opener, 77-66

STILLWATER, Okla. — Bryce Thompson and Kalib Boone led the Cowboys to a 77-66 win over UT Arlington on Thursday night time in Gallagher-Iba Arena to start the 2022-23 season.  

Thompson tallied 18 factors and 7 rebounds in 35 minutes to guide all scorers, whereas Kalib Boone scored 15, his most since Nov. 17, 2021, towards N.C. State. 

Three Cowboys made their debut on Monday, together with John-Michael Wright, Caleb Asberry, and Quion Williams.  

Wright led the group in scoring with 14 factors, splashing three from past the arc.  

The Cowboys outscored the Mavericks 28-2 within the first eight minutes of the second half to increase the result in 55-24, giving the Cowboys loads of cushion for the rest of the sport.
