OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — An arctic chilly entrance strikes throughout the state Thursday.

Temperatures will drop behind the entrance with a powerful north wind.  Winter climate strikes in shut to midnight by about noon Friday.

Wind chills will drop to the one digits Friday morning. 

OKC might see gentle ice switching to snow. Northern Oklahoma will see the best accumulations with up to 4 inches. Roads might flip slushy and slick. Highs will solely climb to the mid 30s with wind chills within the teenagers! Temperatures climb by subsequent week, nearing 80 by Wednesday!
