South Carolina Retirement System and Teacher Retirement System of Texas have disclosed making a $150m (€139.7m) dedication every to Greystar multifamily property funds.
South Carolina mentioned it made its dedication to the Greystar Equity Partners XI whereas Texas Teachers revealed it permitted its dedication to the Greystar Equity Partners Asia Pacific Fund I fund.
According to sources that monitor capital raisings, Partners XI, a US value-add apartment fund, is within the early phases of its fundraising. Greystar raised $2bn in 2019 for its tenth fund.
Regarding the Asia Pacific fund, Greystar acknowledged on its web site that it’s elevating institutional capital to accumulate, develop, reposition and handle rental housing belongings within the Asia-Pacific area.
