Ivy Madness Headed to New York City in 2024

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments will transfer to New York City in 2024, hosted on the campus of Columbia University’s Schiller Court at Levien Gymnasium.

The resolution for subsequent 12 months comes after renovations to Levien Gymnasium have been accomplished ahead of anticipated on the time the unique rotation for the tournaments was introduced.

“New York City is home to passionate and dedicated alumni and fans from all eight Ivy League institutions,” Ivy League Executive Director Robin Harris stated. “Coupled with the energy of March Madness and the enthusiasm that this event has built over just a short period of time, the league could not be more excited to host Ivy Madness in the Big Apple.”

“Columbia is thrilled to be the host of the 2024 Ivy League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships at Levien Gymnasium,” Columbia’s Campbell Family Director of Intercollegiate Athletics & Physical Education Peter Pilling said. “Only here, in New York City, can we provide incredible media exposure for the top four men’s and women’s basketball teams in our unique athletics conference. More Ivy League alumni call New York City home than any other place – and we are excited at the opportunity to show off our revitalized Levien Gymnasium to fans of all participating schools at next year’s Ivy Madness.”

The occasion is in the midst of a campus rotation all through the league. In 2017 and 2018, the tournaments have been positioned at Penn adopted by Yale in 2019 and Harvard final 12 months. Next month’s iteration of the occasion will likely be March 10-12 at Princeton’s Jadwin Gymnasium.

Ivy League basketball returns this weekend with a full slate of eight video games — 4 girls’s and 4 males’s — set for Saturday. To buy tickets to this 12 months’s occasion, click here.
