Plano Fire-Rescue mentioned the owners are out of city. Thankfully, there are not any reported accidents.
Neighbors instructed WFAA they have been afraid the fire would unfold to different homes.
“The flames were really tall. There was thick, black smoke. Just scary. We’re on nerves,” a resident instructed WFAA on scene. “Just shocking to see how bad a house can be set on fire. The temperatures here in Texas have not helped either.”
While battling the house fire, Plano firefighters draped chilly towels on their heads.
In addition to consuming water and staying within the shade, Plano Fire-Rescue leaders additionally instructed WFAA they’re proactively swapping out crews working on this warmth.
