Zimbabwe announces squad for Bangladesh ODIs; Regis Chakabva to lead



Zimbabwe Cricket, on Thursday, introduced the 15-member squad for the upcoming ODI sequence in opposition to Bangladesh, beginning August 5 in Harare.

Regis Chakabva has been appointed captain for the three-match sequence. Chakabva will take over the reins as common skipper Craig Ervine has been rested so as to assist him get well from his current niggles.

Further, all-rounder, Sean Williams can even not participate within the sequence as he has been given break day to attend private issues. The two veterans have been changed by Takudzwanashe Kaitano and Tarisai Musakanda within the 15-member outfit.

Notably, the hosts have not too long ago registered the first-ever T20I sequence in opposition to any Test-playing nation after beating Bangladesh by 10 runs within the sequence decider in Harare on Tuesday (August 2).
