Whitehouse welcomes season with Christmas in the Park event | Texas News

Whitehouse kicked off December with celebration and good cheer as lots of gathered at the park to welcome the coming Christmas season.

The City alongside with the Whitehouse Chamber of Commerce held the annual Christmas festivities on Saturday with its Christmas in the Park celebration.

Children of all ages have been capable of play on the playground, soar in a large life-sized snow globe, strap on ice skates for a visit round the ice skating rink, and take images with Santa.

The all-day event started at 9 a.m. and likewise included a vendor market, meals vans, music performances, “Sounds of Christmas” themed parade, and the City Christmas Tree Lighting. The event concluded with an out of doors film.

Whitehouse City Manager Leslie Black stated the event was a good way to carry the group collectively to have a good time the season.
