The Southwest Florida Symphony, the solely skilled orchestra in Lee County and fourth oldest orchestra in the state, is happy to announce tickets can be found for its annual Holiday Pops. The live shows, referred to as The SWFLSO Christmas Show! will function recurrently featured domestically beloved visitor artist, getting back from Philadelphia, Andrew Lipke.
Under Andrew Lipke’s route, the orchestra will discover what makes beloved vacation hits so timeless by means of new twists on previous classics. The efficiency will function a mash-up of the Nutcracker themes blended with conventional favorites and new lyrics.
The viewers may also have a chance to sing-along as the Southwest Florida Symphony performs the “12 Days of FLORIDA Christmas.”
Concerts will probably be held at:
• Dec. 11 at 4 p.m.: The Village Church at Shell Point, Fort Myers
• Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.: The Gulf Theater, Punta Gorda
• Dec. 13 at 7 p.m.: First Presbyterian Church, Bonita Springs
The Southwest Florida Symphony is happy to be joined by Andrew Lipke, a Philadelphia-based instrumentalist and composer, for these performances. Lipke, who was born in South Africa and attended The University of The Arts, is a critically acclaimed and sought-after arranger, producer, composer, performer and educator. He has carried out as a vocalist with a number of outstanding American orchestras, together with the Indianapolis Symphony, North Carolina Symphony and Colorado Music Festival Orchestra, along with touring the nation with the critically acclaimed Led Zeppelin tribute band Get The Led Out. He has produced dozens of information for native and regional artists and launched 5 solo albums.
