WINTERS, Texas — A person was arrested in Winters on Oct. 27 after officers found he had a warrant for kidnapping out of Oklahoma.

According to a launch via social media by the Winters Police Department, officers carried out a visitors cease on a automobile for rushing on South Highway 153 at round 1 a.m. WPD stated that through the cease, officers discovered that the driving force of the automobile had a warrant out of Oklahoma for kidnapping a four-year-old child that was within the automobile.

WPD defined that the driving force was the organic father of the child. The man had taken the child towards an emergency order that was granted in Oklahoma in July, based on the discharge.

WPD stated that the driving force was instantly arrested and the child is within the division’s protecting custody till their authorized guardian arrives.
