KELLER, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Several city workplaces within the city of Keller will start an experimental four-day work schedule subsequent week.
The Keller Town Hall, Municipal Service Center and the data division of the Keller Police Department will start a trial of the “compressed work schedule” for workers starting on May 28, in accordance to a publish by the City of Keller.
The new schedule can have workplaces opening at 7:30 a.m. and shutting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday by way of Thursday. Offices will likely be closed on Friday.

The trial is geared toward “extending service opportunities for residents, and improving work/life balance for staff.” The trial will final for 4 months, and the schedule change will likely be reassessed at a city assembly on Oct. 4.
