Suspect back in custody after escaping from Bexar County Jail

SAN ANTONIO – A 39-year-old guy is back in the Bexar County Jail after deputies stated he controlled to flee now not lengthy after his arrest.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Alexander Nero escaped from the prison Saturday evening.

Deputies arrested Nero at a house in the 10000 block of Wildrose Bay in a ways West Bexar County on a misdemeanor robbery fee.

He was once ready in the reserving house of the prison for a while, but if deputies performed a head depend at 7:04 p.m., Nero was once nowhere to be discovered.

After investigators reviewed surveillance pictures, they spotted he joined a bunch of folks being launched from the prison and controlled to flee.

Hours later, at 10:12 p.m., Nero was once re-arrested via deputies and returned to the Bexar County Jail.

He’s charged with robbery $100 to <$750, a Class B misdemeanor, and get away legal custody/correction facility, a third-degree legal.
