Potential vice presidential contender Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, stated Sunday that he would “totally plan” to accept the 2024 presidential election results — if the election is “free and fair.”

His feedback echo the ones of a slew of imaginable working buddies for former President Donald Trump, who’ve hedged on whether or not they would accept the results of the 2024 election. The former president himself has many times touted false claims about voter fraud and the result of the 2020 presidential election.

“I totally plan to accept the results of 2024,” Vance stated told CNN anchor Dana Bash, including that he believes Trump will probably be victorious.

“If it’s a free and fair election, Dana, I think every Republican will enthusiastically accept the results,” stated Vance, who is thought to be a imaginable working mate for Trump. “And again, I think those results will show that Donald Trump has been elected president.”

However, Vance added that folks must be capable of “pursue” any “problems” with elections.
