The pedestrian used to be crossing the southbound lanes of Gulf Freeway when a car touring southbound hit the pedestrian, in keeping with Houston police division spokesperson John Cannon. It took place in the 12200 block of Gulf Freeway round 5:40 a.m. Sunday, Cannon stated.
