Oklahoma City Police say an armed man shot, injured after police make contact at an Oklahoma residence

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Around 10:21 a.m. Tuesday morning, an Oklahoma lady observed there was a man on her safety digicam standing on her porch. The man was a “former acquaintance” who was presumably armed.

The incident occurred within the space of NW 127th and William Penn Boulevard.

Police had been capable of make contact with the man at a protected distance and provides him instructions. Police say the man didn’t comply with the officers’ orders.

Officials report the man fired a shot from a firearm and police then shot and wounded the man. The man was taken to a hospital. His situation shouldn’t be recognized at this time.

No police officers had been injured and the investigation continues to be energetic.
