OAKLAND PARK – A 3-year-old girl’s parents are going through costs after police say she overdosed on fentanyl.
Walter and Janett Carter are each charged with baby neglect.
Police say their baby was discovered unresponsive and and not using a pulse inside their Oakland Park house Saturday.
Officers rushed to resuscitate the little girl, saving her life. She’s anticipated to be OK.
But police say testing decided the little girl, alongside together with her parents, all examined optimistic for fentanyl that day.
