Mitchell suffered the fracture when he obtained hit on the little finger of his proper hand whereas batting in the nets forward of New Zealand’s first sport of the tri-series towards Pakistan in Christchurch on Saturday.

He was the highest run-scorer in the Test series in England this summer, scoring 538 runs with three centuries in six innings. And in T20 internationals since the 2021 World Cup, Mitchell has scored 301 runs at a strike rate of 144.71 in 13 innings.
New Zealand are in Group 1 of the Super 12 stage alongside with Australia, England, Afghanistan and two qualifiers from the primary spherical. They kick off the Super 12 stage towards defending champions Australia – a replay for final yr’s remaining – on the SCG on October 22.
