Muldrow basketball player Kiki Wight is the Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week (Jan. 2-8)

Kiki Wight, a junior guard for the Muldrow ladies basketball group, helped her squad begin the new 12 months off proper with a event title.

In a 45-31 championship victory towards Roland in the Sequoyah County Tournament title recreation on Jan. 7, Wight led the approach with 17 factors and 7 rebounds. Two nights earlier, she led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 factors in a semifinal win towards Sallisaw.

For her efforts, Wight was voted the SBLive Oklahoma Athlete of the Week protecting Jan. 2-8.
