More than 4,600 graduates to celebrate fall commencement – News

More than 4,600 college students are anticipated to graduate from UF this fall through the course of 4 commencement ceremonies held within the Exactech Arena on the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Dec. 16-17.

The first ceremony, celebrating 200 doctoral graduates, might be held Friday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m.

Bachelor’s, grasp’s and specialist’s diploma graduates for the College of Health and Human Performance, College of Journalism and Communications, College of Nursing, College of Public Health and Health Professions, College of Veterinary Medicine and the Warrington College of Business will start their ceremony at 7 p.m. on Dec. 16.

The bachelor’s, grasp’s and specialist’s levels commencement ceremony for the College of Arts; College of Design, Construction and Planning; College of Education; College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy might be held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 17.

Bachelor’s, grasp’s and specialist’s diploma graduates for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering will start their ceremony at 3 p.m. on Dec. 17.

This fall’s graduates hail from six continents, representing 73 international locations and 46 states.

The college speaker in any respect three bachelor’s and grasp’s ceremonies is UF President Kent Fuchs.The college speaker for the doctoral ceremony is Brian Ray, director of UF’s Poe Business Ethics Center and grasp lecturer of management and ethics within the Warrington College of Business.
