Minnesota to Unlatch Season Opener in Oklahoma

Norman, Okla. – The University of Minnesota tennis group will soar begin the 2023 spring season on the ITA Kick Off event from Jan. 28-29. The Golden Gophers are set to embark on the two-day occasion Saturday afternoon in opposition to Oklahoma State.

Tournament Format

There are 60 groups between six places. Minnesota is competing at Oklahoma State in a 4 group bracket with Texas Tech, Tulsa and Oklahoma.

The Gophers are set to play No. 17 Oklahoma State on Jan. 28 at 3:00 P.M. CT. The outcomes of those match-ups will decide the opponent and format of Sunday’s gameday schedule. 

Participants

Five student-athletes will journey to signify the Maroon and Gold in Oklahoma. Returning gamers Zeyneb Sarioglan and Lucy Lu can be joined by first-year college students Anet Koskel and Aiva Schmitz, in addition to switch pupil Zoey Weil.
