Man Accused Of Sexually Battering Lauderhill Teen, Police Suspect More Victims Out There – CBS Miami


FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Lauderhill police have arrested a person they stated sexually battered a 16-year-old lady who was strolling house from college.

They now suspect there could also be different victims on the market who’ve but to return ahead.

On April eleventh, the lady was dropped off by her college bus on the intersection of NW thirty eighth Avenue and NW 6t Street simply after 4 p.m. As she started strolling to her house, she seen a white decide up truck parked in a driveway and a person standing close to it.

According to police that man, 39-year-old Jermaine Henderson, showered the lady with compliments in an effort to lure her nearer.

As she did so, police stated he pulled a field cutter and compelled her right into a place close to the truck the place he sexually battered her. He then reportedly advised her to go house and left.

The lady’s mom took her to the hospital and the police had been contacted.

Henderson was taken into custody on April nineteenth in Hollywood and charged with two counts of sexual battery.

Due to his calm method, police consider that this might not be the primary time he has completed one thing like this.

“This is such a brazen act, it was in the middle of the day, you had people around and his demeanor was very calm and very collected. Based on the words that he used and how he was able to convince this female to approach him, make her feel so comfortable, detectives believe there may be other victims around,” stated Lauderhill Police Major Mike Santiago.
