TARRANT COUNTY, Texas — A suspect was identified in connection to an hours-long standoff in June.

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office mentioned deputies went to a home on Indian Creek Drive to serve a felony warrant. As they had been shifting towards the house, they are saying Kemal Shea began taking pictures at deputies from a number of sides of the home.

It hasn’t been confirmed if the warrant was for Shea’s arrest.

Deputies moved to defensive positions, and the Tarrant County SWAT Team was known as to persuade Shea to return out of the house.

He continued taking pictures at legislation enforcement and refused to go away, then dropped an “incendiary device” on the porch. The Sheriff’s Office mentioned a bottle with a rag in flames prompted the home to be set on hearth.

The standoff lasted from 9:30 a.m. to round 2:40 p.m. 

Crews mentioned the hearth injury to the house was in depth. Shea’s physique was situated inside as soon as the hearth was put out. The Medical Examiner’s Office continues to be figuring out his reason for loss of life.

Police mentioned a Tarrant County deputy was struck, presumably by shrapnel, and suffered minor accidents. The deputy was handled on the scene and is again on responsibility.
