Heating lamps blamed for Oklahoma City house fire

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – An Oklahoma household is beginning off the New Year by selecting up the items following an early morning fire.

Around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Oklahoma City firefighters have been known as to a house close to N.W. sixteenth and Ann Arbor.

When they arrived on the scene, fire crews reported seeing smoke and flames coming from the house.

Firefighters say a heating lamp behind the house for pets seemingly sparked the blaze.

Fortunately, nobody was injured within the fire.
